Building a Powerhouse Team
Reaching peak performance in your Vemma business is no mystery to Vemma’s first Canadian Ambassador Linda Proctor. It’s a level of accomplishment she lives every day, yet takes in stride. Most of her energy is spent motivating her already super-charged and growing team, internally known as the Pinnacle Partners. “Although Canada has only 10 percent of the population of the USA, I have a sincere desire to see Vemma Canada responsible for 25 percent of Vemma North America sales,” she affirms.
Expanding personal horizons comes as second nature to Linda, as she recently reached the status of Ambassador in November 2011. While her long-term goals are focused on Vemma, it’s the short-term steps to attaining them that form the basis of her achievements. These principles are infused with patience and enthusiasm.
“My husband introduced me to Vemma. He had been using the product and loving it before I was ready to make a change and look at the Vemma opportunity,” Linda asserts. Before she could be open to Vemma, she had to embrace network marketing as a whole.
“I had owned my own financial services business and although I earned a great income, I had no time, no freedom and an enormous amount of responsibility. When my income from network marketing began exceeding my business income, I was definitely hooked,” she explains.*
Before you can get behind the business and what it stands for, Linda says that you must have a specific target that you are building toward. “Be fully convinced that you have a good product … coupled with an effective marketing plan.”
The beauty of having a Vemma business becomes self-evident once it begins to build on the strengths of other people. “She says it’s essential to find and develop strong leaders . “Focus on business building, not product sales … the product will always be sold in the process,” she states, beaming. What’s behind that smile? Linda muses, “With Vemma, I have the opportunity to earn money 24 hours a day … and I do!”*
According to Linda, expanding your income opportunity comes down to surrounding yourself with the right people and becoming one of those people yourself.
“I seek advice from the people who are ‘making it happen,’ like my upline leadership, Royal Ambassadors Tom and Bethany Alkazin,” she says. “Then I think of all the strong, determined individuals I know and make an appointment with them to show them how they can turn their annual income into a monthly income.”*
She knows full well the limits of traditional business and the financial plateaus associated with them. Obtaining true wealth is championed through channels of residual income — its pathway created by team effort.
For Linda, it’s all about finding people determined to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others through a partnership. Elevating her business is the result of consistent partnerships. “I can’t say enough about my team … I am so proud of every one of them and all they have accomplished and will accomplish! I believe they can see themselves at the ‘Pinnacle’ rank!”
In fact, her team has seen enormous growth this year. So far, she has had 28 Brand Partners reach the rank of Diamond and above. She also had 23 Brand Partners attend the Go for the Gold weekend summit. It’s Linda’s leadership, along with the drive of her proactive team, that keeps them reaching for the stars. In 2012, Linda expects even more success. This group truly is a force to be reckoned with.
This past year has seen a lot of growth for Linda and her team, including a few Brand Partners she would like to thank publicly for their enthusiasm and leadership: Presidentials Mark Low and Ian Nicholson and Executives Colleen Filicetti and Charlene Friesen are a joy to work with. In addition to harnessing strength from the people around her, Linda applauds Vemma tools, such as the Vemma Action Plan, as one of the best ways to start a new recruit. “It covers all the bases,” she says. She also recommends Vemma Voice; “It a complete tool … everything a person would want to know about Vemma.” She adds, “Additional thanks goes to the great staff at Vemma Home Office for making our job easier and always making a great impression on the newest Brand Partner.”
When asked how Vemma has impacted her on a personal and financial level, Linda Proctor offers a simple yet significant response: “Vemma is life becoming complete.”
