New Vemma Golds share how to shine
Across the U.S., more women are discovering an incredible opportunity with Vemma® and they’re going for Gold. See how three Lady Bosses made Gold a reality!

JACQUELINE BENJAMIN, MARYLAND

“ I love my family and want to spend more time with them and share what I have – Vemma is allowing me to do just that.” This is Jacqueline Benjamin’s “Why,” which is becoming a reality every day as she pursues a healthy lifestyle and an additional stream of income with Vemma.

“I decided to create a Vemma affiliate business because I have the opportunity to maximize the benefits of being healthier by becoming a product of the product, then sharing the product to earn some residual income,” explains Jacqueline, an analyst for the U.S. Federal Government.

The Maryland mother who recently hit the Vemma rank of Gold says she loves the flexibility the extra income has given her. “This extra income has given me the ability to share with my family and travel more.”

So what has helped her grow her Vemma business? “I have the most amazing upline leaders and team members that anyone could possibly ask for; we work very hard,” she says. “Executives Isaac Carr and Sheldon Baylor both have been nothing short of amazing, lending their expertise in this industry as well as their leadership skills.”

Jacqueline says the key to being successful with an affiliate business comes down to two things: “Being coachable and teachable has definitely enabled me to learn from the best and pass it on to my organization.”

CELIA ESQUILIN, FLORIDA
celiaCelia Esquilin is grateful for her traditional 9-to-5 job, but she has a bigger vision for her life.

“I believe traditional business settings are not designed for people to set their own salaries, schedules, monthly goals or promotions. Typically, they also don’t offer the flexibility to work from home,” shares Celia. “I decided to develop a Vemma affiliate business to take charge of my future.”

Celia says she loves sharing the Vemma products with her friends and family to introduce them to a healthier way of living. In addition, she believes in the business model.

“This business is designed to help people prosper according to their individual goals and efforts,” Celia explains. “Through Vemma, I believe I can achieve my dreams and create opportunity for many others to do the same.”

Getting to the rank of Gold was pretty straightforward for Celia: “I got to Gold by simply sharing Vemma with others, who then purchased products. I share the products, the business opportunity and the team-building approach with everyone. In doing so, I’ve developed a continuous base of Customers and partner Affiliates.”
She adds, “I want to thank (Vemma Founder & CEO) BK Boreyko for his innovation and vision; my upline distributors, (Ambassadors) David and Debbie Reeder for introducing me to this fantastic opportunity; as well as everyone on my team for continuing to invest in their future as they share the most rewarding business opportunity of our time!”

FAITH MILLS, COLORADO
Faith Mills
Faith has been approached by many people over the years encouraging her to try a new product or start her own work-from-home business. The stay-at-home mom turned every request down until her good friends shared Vemma.

“To be honest, like many, I was extremely skeptical at first,” shares Faith. “But because I have so much respect for my good friends, (Diamonds) Dan and Angela (Fox), from both a professional and personal level, I decided to seriously look into this opportunity and I’m glad I did! I’m so lucky they thought of me.”

Faith, who worked for IBM for 12 years before deciding to stay at home with her two young children, says Vemma has given her the opportunity to infuse more nutrition into her family’s diet while also helping with the monthly budget.

“My husband is a successful entrepreneur, but we’ve recently added a new leg to our endeavors, which, while very exciting, is also very stressful financially,” she shares. “With Vemma I have the opportunity to grow my business into a secondary source of income for our family while still staying home with our young children. This means so much to all of us!”

For Faith, achieving the rank of Gold with Vemma is giving her the flexibility and opportunity to achieve her “Why.”
“My dream is to watch our children grow up, to be part of so many of their childhood memories, to ensure they have limitless opportunities for their future,” she explains. “I want to continue this amazing journey of personal growth, and to help other people improve their health and fulfill their dreams. While this road is not the easiest, it is rewarding on so many levels!”

Busy Mom of Two Creates Extra Stream of Income with Vemma

LadyBoss discovers new “work-life balance” with Vemma

For 18 years, Ryka Milo worked 50 hours a week as a marketing director for two area hospitals in Southern California while juggling being a highly involved mother of two.

“You’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do,” Ryka reflects. “Then, I heard about Vemma® and loved that the main formula was liquid, complete and simple.”

Once Ryka tried Vemma, she knew she had to share it with everyone she knew.

“I just knew Vemma was something everyone needed in their body,” she says. “So I turned sharing Vemma into a hobby.”

Little did she know that soon after the fateful introduction, her high-power career would come to a screeching halt when the company decided to eliminate her position.

But, rather than being discouraged, Ryka decided to take the experience and immediately turned to creating a solid plan for success to turn her “hobby” into a legitimate income source.

Creating freedom

Now, nearly eight years later, the Vemma Executive is fitting in video calls with team members between carpools; jumping on conference calls while cooking dinner for her family and successfully working her business into the nooks and crannies of her life. The family-centered mom says the flexibility she now has allows her to be as involved in her parents’ and kids’ lives the way she wants.

She does admit, however, that it does take some discipline and coordinating with the family to get into a routine that works for everyone.

“In the beginning, balancing your routine is the biggest challenge,” says Ryka. “I was battling that in the beginning and my kids would say ‘you’re always on the phone,’ but now they understand that it’s my work. I could do this and they could see me, or I could get a job in a building where they wouldn’t.”

Paying it forward

The best part for Ryka? Being part of a movement that’s all about “people helping people.” In fact, because she wasn’t working in a traditional job, she was more present in her kids’ lives and noticed a young student named Jed Buenaluz needed a place to stay. She took him in and now the young professional is a Vemma Ambassador traveling the world building his business.*

With her son now in college and her daughter in high school, Ryka says her Vemma income helps pay the $2,800 college tuition bill every month and gives her spending money to purchase the things she wants.* She’s looking forward to the New Year and believes it holds a lot of promise for everyone.

“It’s a New Year and time for people to hit the ‘reset’ button to have a new beginning.”

Get Plugged In & Find Out the Secrets of Being a Vemma Lady Boss

Crissy has been with Vemma for seven years, the first three as a customer. “I have a background in health and wellness, and was taking eight different pills for preventative health before finding the Vemma formula,” Crissy shares. “Switching was a no-brainer.”

A long-time friend of Michelle, Crissy wasn’t interested in becoming an Affiliate until visiting a local home and garden show. “I saw a Vemma booth and asked the woman if she knew Michelle Barnes. She looked puzzled, and that’s when I looked down and saw a stack of SUCCESS Magazines with Michelle Barnes on the cover. I immediately called her and asked about her Vemma business, then drove over to her house to get started.”

4 Keys to Success from Crissy Gravina
  1. The only way to fail is to not do anything and quit. “A lot of my friends said no, especially those who I thought would be interested. The good news is today they’re all Vemma Affiliates. I guess no means ‘not yet.’”
  2. Stay plugged in. Show up for your business by watching videos, connecting to events, and keeping Vemma at the forefront of your mind.
  3. Be consistent. Do something, even if it’s small, for your business every single day.
  4. Be teachable. “There’s a system we follow, and the system works. New people often want to come in and re-invent the wheel. Just follow the system.”

Lady Boss Earns Escape Trip and Reaches Diamond in Record Time*

Picture
Paulette Anderson has been a traditional business owner her whole life. She enjoyed the flexibility and compensation that came with being self-employed, but holidays and sick days were difficult. She was a single mom and often took her kids to work with her when they were young.

When she met her husband, she was able to “retire” to a certain extent, but this strong, independent Lady Boss wasn’t content to stop contributing financially altogether. She began searching for the ideal job to fit her new life. “I soon realized I was used to creating my day and calling the shots, and unfortunately, employers don’t admire that attribute,” she says. “I wanted to manage my own schedule, work alongside a team of people I enjoyed, and have no ceiling on my income. I could work from home or anywhere around the world, receive personal growth and help others also achieve their dreams, and create a legacy for my children. I wanted to be available at all times to my family,” she explains.

ACTION, NOT EXCUSES
Paulette launched her Vemma business on June 3, 2014 under the leadership of Gilbert Anderson. Gilbert’s vision to put Canada on the map was contagious. “He chased away any skepticism I had with affiliate marketing,” she says. She began by promising to commit to 30 days of following his direction and taking action with no excuses.

She also committed to hosting a weekly home event for four weeks. Each Thursday, Paulette endeavored to have a minimum of six prospects in attendance. She says she came out of the gates eager to spread the word without pre-judging others, and left her ego at the door. “There were many calls and conversations when I had to work through my own preconceptions and fears of rejection. That’s where your ‘Why’ is so important to know. Clinging to that Why pushed me forward every day. After finishing up those four dates, I had a solid team working with me who were now duplicating and building their business!”

She focused on her own forward movement every day. Making calls, emailing and face-to-face conversations naturally brought her to each rank advancement. “Pushing myself when I felt tired and making a commitment to Frenzy or Double Frenzy weekly became a reality through leadership support, mentoring and time investment from Gilbert,” she says.* “I watched him as the weeks went by and knew I wanted to be that leader for my new team. I started duplicating what he’d done with me.” She also followed her upline and mentors — including Tom Alkazin, Bob and Linda Proctor, and Maria Morgis — recognizing that she could experience success by remaining coachable and doing what they did.

GETTING CONNECTED
Paulette believes that consistently plugging into events is a big part of experiencing success. Whether it’s a home meeting, a regional event, or a Saturday morning training, it’s important to stay connected. Read motivational books, listen to industry speakers, and write out your goals. Paulette plans to attend the Vemma Training Convention and is also enjoying the fruits of her labor through Vemma rewards trips.

She will attend the Go for Gold event in Tempe, Arizona in December, as well as the Escape Trip in Puerto Vallarta in January. “This company really celebrates its people at every level, and the rewards I’ve received for the work I’ve put into my business are fantastic,” she says.

PAULETTE’S TIPS FOR SUCCESS
Anticipate and expect success. You don’t always need to know how it will happen — just that it will.
Reach down and help others in your business, because you can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough people get what they want.

Empowering Women with Vemma: Ladies in Power

9/17/2014

Picture
Executive Affiliate leader Judy Machado-Duque dreamed for years about how to inspire and empower women. Born in Portugal, Judy came to Canada as a child and was raised amidst the multicultural thrill of Toronto. With no money for college, Judy discovered personal development at age 18, launching her forward into a rewarding and diverse career. After becoming a prominent corporate manager and successful business owner, Judy discovered Vemma and subsequently founded the Ladies In Power (LIP) movement with new friends Fabiana Bacchini and Marnie Kay. “The fact that I can combine my passion to inspire women with my Vemma businesses is fabulous,” says Judy. “Thanks to Vemma, we can put together crazy awesome events now where women share their stories of courage and determination. We find speakers, arrange the venue, throw in a dash of Vemma and it all comes together.”

Three Women, Four Continents

“Marnie, Fabi and I have all had experiences where someone’s impacted and inspired us,” says Judy. “As Canadian immigrants, all three of us could have led ordinary, even meager lives, but someone inspired us and made a profound difference. That’s what we want to do for other women.” Fabiana is originally from Brazil; she’s a journalist, life coach and mother of two children. Marnie is a twenty-something world traveler and former retail manager from Australia. “Since we come from three different continents, and live on a fourth, we call ourselves the United Nations,” laughs Judy.

They may never have realized their shared dream of inspiring women if hadn’t been for Fabi’s husband, Dr. Stelios Nikolkakais. All three women happened to be in the same Vemma organization and had all spoken with Dr. Nikolkakais about what they wanted to do in life. “Stelios told me one day, you should connect with these other two women because you have a lot in common,” shares Fabi. So they got together and the Ladies In Power movement began. This past fall, Judy, Marnie and Fabi announced the first official LIP event in Toronto. The response was overwhelming, with tickets selling out and national radio interview invitations coming in.

Judy says the secret to success lies in finding your driving force and making the decisions to create positive change. “Whatever your dream is, wherever your passion is, that is where you start,” Judy says. “At the LIP events, we let women know that Vemma is how we’ve achieved success, but we make the events mostly about empowering women and don’t push the compensation plan.”

Meet Fabi Bacchini, Co-Founder of LIP

Fabi Bacchini says that when she talks to women, she notices that most don’t feel successful or beautiful. Fabi is a licensed life coach and says that every time she gets a new client, one of the questions she asks them is how beautiful they feel. “In over ten years of consulting, only about four percent of women say they feel beautiful,” says Fabi. “What a tragedy!”

At the Ladies In Power events (which are now held monthly), Judy, Fabi, Marnie, and their troupe of volunteers empower women to do whatever it is they dream of doing. “Maybe that’s singing in front of a group, raising money for African children or running a profitable Vemma business from home,” she says. Fabi loves the way her Vemma business allows her to stay at home with her two young children and inspire women at the same time.*  “For many years now I had this dream of empowering women,” Fabi shares, “but I thought, how am I going to do it? I have an accent, and working as a journalist in my non-native language was difficult. I saw Vemma as an opportunity to help women.”

Meet Marnie Kay, Co-Founder of LIP

Star Platinum Affiliate Marnie Kay, who heads the social media side of LIP, came from the testosterone-driven corporate world and loves the freedom of running her own business. “I’ve seen women create their whole lives comparing themselves to men,” says Marnie. “We naturally tend to compare ourselves. I became a district manager at an early age and I was really out to prove myself but it didn’t really get me anywhere.” Marnie had a wakeup call a few years ago when her mother unexpectedly died at the age of 50. “We had no idea she had health problems,” says Marnie. “It made me realize how important health is. Most people my age are into partying and eating whatever they want. I’m focused on being healthy, which is what attracted me to Vemma.”

Shortly after her mother’s death, Marnie learned about Vemma from Chris Messenger. She joined mostly off Chris’s enthusiasm but didn’t know where to go with it at first. “For weeks, I was scared of those orange boxes in my hallway. But when I saw the scale of this thing, and what it could do for women, I got excited. My favorite thing about my former career was training managers, and with Vemma I get to train new leaders.” Marnie is now full time with Vemma, having quit her corporate job this year. For the first time since moving to Canada, Marnie’s spending Christmas back in Australia with her family. “With Vemma, you can create the time freedom that so many women need.* I love how portable this business is! I can do it from anywhere. And the fabulous thing about it is that anyone can do this. Look at the founders of LIP. We didn’t come from royalty!”

Helping Women Achieve with LIP

As co-founders of LIP, Judy, Marnie and Fabi are making a difference in the world by helping women make positive decisions and engineer their own success. “I believe we’re all here on earth to help each other,” Judy says. “Something amazing happens when a story aligns with a message of change.” Those messages of inspiration are going out every hour now thanks to Ladies In Power. Their latest LIP event, held at a huge Toronto nightclub, sold out weeks in advance and has received rave reviews. “Thanks to the Vemma opportunity, we’ve created a community of strength, wisdom and empowerment in LIP,” says Judy. “Women leave these events changed for life, and that’s so exciting!”
