Twenty-one-year-old Ian Lenhart found success after an initial failure in an unproven and untested Vemma market. He says being out in New England without guidance and structure from top leaders actually helped him.
Presidential Ian Lenhart, a student at University of New Hampshire, says his initial struggles were from building wide instead of building deep. “When I first started I signed up everyone I knew, and quickly had 100 people in my organization, but within weeks 99 quit. I didn’t have a system, training or duplication. I was just really excited about the opportunity to create residual income and the Verve products.”
Even after hitting that early speed bump, Ian was relentless in pursuing the Vemma business. “I had a decision to make — should I blame others for my mistakes or should I take this failure as a competitive advantage?” Ian decided on the latter, and built something special — a team of hundreds that treat each other like family and put other people first.
“We created events, handed out Verve, played home event videos and Skyped in leaders,” remembers Ian. “You gotta go out and make it happen!”
