For Tony Grebmeier, the Vemma Bod•ē 12-Week Transformation Plan didn’t just transform his body, it transformed his entire family.**
Since starting Bod•ē in January 2012, Tony has found he’s spending more time with his wife, Amber, and sons, Ethan and Owen. Not only does he have more energy and is able to actually participate in the kids’ activities, but he also points to one simple thing that has brought them all together: The family dinner table.**
“Before, my wife would have to cook separate meals for all of us,” Tony says. “But with the Bod•ē plan, she can spend ten minutes in the kitchen preparing a meal, and we can all sit down together at the same time and there’s something for each of us. It’s given us family time that we never used to have.”
It’s also helped the family budget. No longer eating out five nights a week, the Grebmeiers are spending much less by eating in almost every night.
A Jump in Activity Levels
With Tony’s recent weight loss, he’s able to spend more time with his active sons. “I’m having fun with my kids again,” he says. “We’ve had a trampoline since Christmas, and last week was the first time I was able to jump on it with them.”
Since January 3rd, Tony has lost 43 lbs and 10 ins.** His pant size has gone from a 42 waist to a 34; and those, he reports, “are falling down.”**
Amber has lost 19 lbs and has also seen her business grow because of Bod•ē.** She’s earned the Kickoff Frenzy Bonus several times (Brand Partners can earn up to $200 per week for enrolling other Brand Partners and/or Customers) thanks to her own visible success in the program.
A Taste for Wellness
Another thing that has changed: Tony’s palate. “I’m eating all the foods my mom and dad always told me to eat, but I wouldn’t touch,” he laughs. “People told me that if you change the way you eat, your palate will change at around day 30 – and it did! I never liked sweet potatoes before, but I can honestly say, I had them the other day and I really enjoyed them. I never liked asparagus, or Brussels sprout; and now I not only like them, but I look forward to eating them.”
Tony is also a living example of how the Bod•ē plan adjusts to an active lifestyle. Because of his business, he eats lunch out almost every day – but he hasn’t let that derail his progress. “Today, at Wahoo’s (a place famous for fish tacos), I ordered shrimp, black beans and brown rice,” he reports. “And I only ate half of it. I brought the rest of it home and just had half of that for a snack. I just don’t eat the portions I used to, but I’m completely satisfied.”**
What is Tony’s advice for anyone beginning his or her own transformation? It comes down to three words: “Follow the Plan.”
“It’s so easy. You don’t need to change what’s already been created; and hey, it works! Own it! You get reminders every day – little nudges that remind you to drink your water or take your Burn – and if you do what it says, you’ll be successful.”
“Wanting to make a change comes from within. Your life’s on the line! I started because I wanted to be around for my kids; and, now I realize I’m like a fine wine – I’m just getting better with age!”
